3. Fernery
This shady area is ideal for ferns with a dry bank where in spring you
may also see the Early purple orchid to the boggy part with a river
of Primula candelabra running through. Walk along the bark path and
you will see many and varied ferns, the New Zealand Pellaea, Japanese
painted fern, American ghost fern and the world wide Lady fern.
